Report email behavior
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| I unchecked Send only if new incidents created in the last 24 hours, but I am still receiving emails. Why? | This is expected. When this checkbox is unchecked, report emails can still be sent even if no new incidents were created in the last 24 hours. |
| Does Send only if new incidents created in the last 24 hours affect what appears in Operations > Incidents? | No. This setting only controls whether the report email is sent. It does not control which incidents appear in Operations > Incidents. |
| Does the report email apply additional filtering to incidents? | No. The report email links to the Incidents page under Operations > Incidents. The report link should not apply additional filtering. |
| Why do I see a difference between incidents in the report email and incidents under Operations > Incidents? | The report should link directly to the Incidents page. If you see a discrepancy, contact [email protected] and include the report email, incident details, and a specific example. |
Report settings and recipients
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Who can manage report settings? | Only tenant admins can manage report settings because these settings affect tenant-wide configuration. Non-admin users cannot change report settings. |
| How do I know if my report settings were updated successfully? | After changing a report setting and clicking Update, a confirmation toast should appear to confirm that the report settings were updated successfully. |
| Can I configure multiple email addresses for reports? | No. At the moment, only one email address can be configured for reports. Use a shared mailbox, NOC mailbox, IT team mailbox, or distribution list if multiple people need to receive the report. |
| Why is there no list of report recipients under Settings > Reports? | Because only one email address can currently be configured for reports, a recipient list is not displayed. Re-enter the email address to update the configured report recipient. |
| Can non-admin users receive incident notifications? | Yes. Tenant admins manage report settings, but other users can still receive incident notifications through space settings and incident routing. |
Report time zone
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What time zone is used for sending reports? | The report send time is configured in UTC under Settings > Reports. Your inbox may display the received email time in your local time zone, depending on your email client settings. |
