Brings Neat Bar/Board devices managed in Neat Pulse into the portal.

Prerequisites

To use the Neat Pulse cloud API with Xyte, make sure you have:

• Required account / tenant: Neat Pulse account
• Required access: Full API access
• Required plan / license: Paid plan, typically Plus or Pro
• Where to verify: Pulse plans page

Status and sync

• Xyte reads each device's connection state from Neat Pulse on every sync, every 25 minutes.
• A device shows as online when Neat Pulse reports it as connected, and offline otherwise.
• Rooms don't have a status of their own in Neat Pulse, so a room always shows as online. Check the devices in it for their status.
• Status changes appear in Xyte on the next sync.
• If a device is removed from Neat Pulse, Xyte doesn't mark it offline. It's removed from Xyte after a while.

Authorization with the Neat Pulse cloud is done via an API Key and Organization ID.

Creating an API Key

1. Log in to Your Neat Pulse Account
2. Once logged in, locate the Settings menu in the top-right corner or side navigation panel.
3. Select API Access or a similar option.
4. If an API key is already generated, it will be displayed in the API Access section. Copy the key. If not, click Generate API Key and follow the prompts to create one.

Locate Your Organization ID

Your Organization ID can typically be found in the Account Settings or Profile section of your Neat Pulse dashboard.
Look for a field labeled "Organization ID" or similar.

If deleted and re-added:

Deleting this connector will remove all imported devices and their data. This action cannot be undone.

• A new connector will be created upon re-adding.
• If the name Neat already exists, the new connector will be named Neat 1.
• The device tree will be re-imported under the new connector.
• The tree hierarchy will not be deleted.

After you submit, you'll see a confirmation that your credentials were submitted. Authorizing the integration and syncing devices can take up to 72 hours — you'll be notified when it's done.
