Syncs Microsoft Teams Rooms via the Teams admin / Pro Management surface so MTR systems and their peripherals appear alongside every other room.

Permissions

The approving user must have administrative privileges on the Microsoft account and perform an OAuth2 flow

The integration only requires basic scopes and collects data only about Microsoft Rooms, no access to users, calendars or other data is required or requested by the integrations.

The following scopes are required to enable the integration:

The first 5 scopes are required for the OAuth2 flow and provide minimal data only about the user performing the flow.

The only permissions required for normal Xyte's operations are teamworkdevice.read.allwhich only allows access to Team Room Devices and only in Read Only mode.

The data does not contain meeting, user or other PII or content information - only hardware device state related information such as "microphone connection state".

Delegate Access

The method by which OAuth2 is setup, is the "Delegate Access" (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity-platform/v2-oauth2-on-behalf-of-flow).

The user authorizing the connection must be and Administrators, where the authorization flow requests limited scope (as defined above) to "act in the name of" the user.

The user will require an Office365 license during the authorization process (can be removed afterwards).
