Change space priority
A space's priority can be set via the Space screen which is accessible from Dashboard settings. Changing the space's priority will automatically raise or lower the priority level of all incidents created by devices in that space (and in child spaces, if inheritance is not disabled).
Can I delete a space that has a Connector attached?
The Connector must first be deleted, trying to delete the space will result in an error.
What happens if I move a monitored device to a new space?
The device will continue to be synced in the new location. Moving the device to a new location on the original cloud (e.g. in Zoom) will not move it on Xyte and will not break the sync.
What happens when a Connector is removed or disabled
All the devices will remain in Xyte but will not get any more updates.
What happens when a Connector is re-authenticated
The devices and spaces will not be affected, the synchronization will continue from the previous state.
What happens when a Connector is removed and re-added
The original spaces and devices will remain but will no longer get updates. A full new import will occur.
Can I see a history of changes made to a device?
Changes such as edits to a device's IP address, MAC, or serial, and merge and split actions, are recorded as audit events that include the user who made each change. To access this change history for your organization, contact [email protected].
